International Attendance

The following information will assist the SFCVB in promoting your meeting overseas to attract incremental international attendance, primarily as congress groups. The information will be passed to our extensive network of international representatives as well as to our tourism sales staff who meet with travel trade organizers around the world at trade shows. The SFCVB representatives are located in Tokyo, Shanghai, Frankfurt, London, Sao Paolo, Paris and Sydney. Each office has communication vehicles with group organizers in which your interest in international attendance can be promoted. The information will also provide us with vital information when receiving general inquiries from overseas.   9. Some Asian countries (particularly China) require a Letter of Invitation from the Association to the people requesting a visa. This letter is channeled through the group organizer and expresses a general statement of interest from the Association wanting qualified professionals attend their conference.
