• With the Bureau’s online advertising program(s), members have the opportunity to directly speak to their audience whether it is the consumer or travel industry professional. Online advertisements may be tailored for each market segment to reach a specific target audience.

Sales

• The Bureau participates in both national and international trade conferences, including sales missions, promoting San Francisco as a premier destination to travel industry professionals. Members are encouraged to participate in promoting their business to these market segments by either attending or providing marketing materials.

Educational Seminars and Networking Events

• The Bureau hosts monthly new member and refresher educational seminars to assist members in reaching their customer base.

• Member showcase events are conducted each month to provide the opportunity to expose staff to member products and services.

• The quarterly Membership Business Exchanges allows member to meet with fellow Bureau members in a networking situation, where they can learn and share information.

Access

• The Bureau provides members with detailed information about projected attendees, blocked room nights and economic impact of future conventions and meetings occurring in San Francisco. Members are able to directly contact, and potentially work with, meeting planners to expand their business into the group sales and marketing arena.

• The Bureau makes industry specific research and statistics available to members. Research and statistics are provided by recognized leaders in the industry such as PKF Consulting, California Travel & Tourism Commission and San Francisco International Airport.

• The Business Plan outlines the key objectives and goals for the Bureau annually. Weekly news is distributed electronically and member specific communications sent on-going. The Bureau works diligently to inform members of industry centric news to better support your business objectives.
